CLAS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET INVOLVED

The goal of CLAS is to engage children in learning experiences that prepare their hearts and minds for life and for eternity. As students experience CLAS through the teaching and guidance of qualified staff, there is an important component of support staff. These support persons volunteer their time and talents in the service of Christ to the children of CLAS.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERING INCLUDE:

1. Classroom Helpers – Assist teachers with simple tasks like organizing materials, preparing activities, or supervising students during work time.
2. Library Assistant – Help organize books, read to younger students, or assist with library check-ins and check-outs.
3. Lunchroom Helpers – Support students during lunchtime by helping with setup, cleanup, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
4. Playground Supervision – Monitor students during recess, ensuring they play safely and resolve minor conflicts.
5. Event Support – Assist with school events, fundraisers, and celebrations by setting up decorations, serving refreshments, or managing activity stations.
6. Arts & Crafts Prep – Cut, glue, or organize craft materials for teachers and students to use in creative projects.
7. Tech Support – Assist with simple technology-related tasks, such as setting up projectors, organizing digital files, or troubleshooting minor computer issues.
8. Prayer Team – Join a group of volunteers who pray for students, staff, and the school’s mission regularly.
