My name is Rebecca John. I was born and raised in Bangalore, India, where I completed my initial schooling. I moved to Germany in 2016 and began my academic journey in Sustainable Agriculture. Alongside my studies, I gained practical experience working as a Technical Assistant in Aquaponics and Hydroponics at IGB in Berlin for six months. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Proteomics at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, where I have been working since February 2023. Rethinking the norm and my natural curiosity motivate my work in the PhD lab, where I seek new pathways and strive to break new ground. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and the sins of this world, rose from the dead, conquered death, and will one day return for those who are His. This sure hope spurs me on from faith to faith. I truly value my fellowship with Brudergemeinde, Stuttgart, which has played an important role in nurturing my spiritual growth. I truly believe that I can do all things through God’s grace and strength, and my great desire is to spark curiosity and wonder in young children, helping them discover the beauty and magnificence of God’s creation through the wonders of science. I love the beach and enjoy listening to various genres of music and playing the piano in my free time. |
