As we expand both our German Intensive Language Program and our German Program for Children, we are seeking a passionate, qualified, and committed Christian German Language Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by teaching adults and children in a supportive, multicultural, and Christ-centered learning environment.
Your Role:
German Intensive Language Program
Teach engaging and structured German language courses for international learners at various proficiency levels. Lessons should develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary while preparing learners for everyday life, work, or further education in Germany.
CLAS German Program for Children
Provide creative and age-appropriate German instruction for children enrolled at Christian LIFE Academy Stuttgart. Lessons should encourage language development through interactive activities, games, stories, songs, and meaningful communication while fostering confidence and a love for learning.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
• Is a committed Christian and is willing to actively support the Christian faith, values, and mission of Christian LIFE Academy Stuttgart
• Demonstrates Christian character, integrity, compassion, patience, and professionalism
• Is able to integrate a Christian worldview naturally and appropriately into the learning environment
• Has a degree or recognized qualification in German, German as a Foreign Language (DaF), German as a Second Language (DaZ), Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• Has native or near-native German proficiency, preferably C1 or C2
• Has experience teaching German to children, adults, or multilingual learners
• Has strong lesson-planning, organizational, and classroom-management skills
• Has a warm, encouraging, and engaging teaching style
• Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
Experience with DaF/DaZ instruction, intensive language programs, or preparation for German language examinations is highly desirable.
