Favorite Bible Verse Isiah 40:31 but those who trust in the LORD will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint. My Philosophy of Education I believe teaching is my calling. The Lord has faithfully equipped and guided me throughout my journey, placing mentors, institutions, and students in my life who have shaped me both personally and professionally. For me, education is not only about knowledge, but about nurturing hearts, minds, and character. As a teacher of English and German, I have taught at the high school level, yet I have discovered a special joy in working with younger students. Their curiosity and energy inspire me daily. When planning my lessons, I carefully consider the purpose of each lesson, the individual characteristics of my learners, and how to create the right balance between joy and challenge. I believe students learn best when they are actively engaged. In my classroom, students move, collaborate, and put their learning into practice through partner and group work. Language learning offers endless opportunities not only to develop communication skills, but also to shape students’ worldview and encourage thoughtful, respectful engagement with others. My desire is that students leave my classroom growing not only in knowledge, but also in confidence, compassion, and faith. |
